> Where does my data go?
Nowhere. The AI runs entirely on your computer. Your documents, conversations and memory never leave your device. The only data that reaches our servers is your email (for your account) and the payment through Stripe.
> What are the hardware requirements?
Any laptop or desktop from the last ~8 years works. The installer measures your RAM, CPU cores and graphics card, then recommends the best AI model for your machine. Small models run on almost anything.
> How do I cancel?
Open Settings → Account → Cancel subscription. One click, no forms, no retention flow. Your data remains available locally even after cancelling.
> What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Your workspace (conversations, memory, documents) is stored in your user folder. Uninstalling the app keeps those files on disk. You can also export everything from Settings before uninstalling.
> What's the difference between the AI models?
Smaller models (500M–1B parameters) are faster and lighter — great for short tasks like emails or extraction. Larger models (3B–8B) produce better long texts like reports. You can change models anytime in Settings.
> Does it work without internet?
Yes. After installation and model download, everything works offline: automations, memory, search. Internet is only needed for the first download and for updates.
> Why is it so cheap?
Because there are no AI API costs. You own the hardware that runs the models, so we only charge a small amount to maintain the app, updates and support.
> Can I use it for a business or a team?
Yes, each computer has its own local workspace. For shared team context, export and import lets you move a workspace between machines.
> Why do you ask for my card during the free trial?
To keep the free trial honest: one month free per device, automatically ending unless you cancel. We don't charge anything during the trial. This also lets us detect abuse of repeated free trials.
> What hardware information does the app collect?
Only a device fingerprint (hash of disk, MAC and machine identifiers) used to enforce the one-trial-per-device rule. It is a one-way hash — we cannot recover any identifier from it. No files, documents or AI content are ever collected.
